PISTAT Research Institute seeks to commercially produce new rootstocks and cultivars of pistachio, olive, walnut, jujube, and blueberry using modern scientific researches. It also works to commercial production of these products by constructing modern orchards and scientific management of old gardens, as well as the production of some cut flowers, such as orchids and Anthurium. For this purpose, this research institute was established with three research groups consisting of prominent professors and young researchers to achieve the defined goals using new knowledge. PISTAT is ready to cooperate with universities and research centers to support research projects in the field of improving nutrition, irrigation, pest and disease management, and breeding programs to introduce new cultivars and rootstocks.
